The Kittens by Elizabeth Hartman is a fun and modern patchwork quilt featuring five different cat designs (Simon, Chrissy, Bacon Bits, Daisy, Mr. Snuggles), each with its own personality.
The pattern includes two versions of the quilt: Sampler Cats, which uses five different cat blocks, and Plain Cats, which uses the same cat block repeated. It is a great pattern for playing with colour and fabric, from simple solids and small prints to larger, more colourful prints.
The blocks are traditionally pieced using rotary-cut pieces, with no paper piecing or templates required. The pattern includes instructions for making a 66" x 66" quilt, with individual cat blocks measuring 8" x 10". The cat blocks can also be used individually for smaller projects or combined into other quilt designs
